Statement Of Faith

The Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thess 2:13)

Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son ad the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, John 15:26)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and was physically raised from the dead. (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:35, 1 Cor 15:20-23)

 

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is God who converts sinners and lives in every born-again believer, empowering us to live a godly life and guiding us in truth. (John 14:16-17, 14:16-17, 16:13-14)

 

Man

We believe man is made in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. (Gen 1:24-27, 3:1-24, John 3:3) 

 

Salvation

We believe that salvation for humanity can only be obtained by the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:22, Ephesians 1:7)

 

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is primarily an act of obedience for believers to identify with Christ and the best method of water baptism is by water immersion. (Matt 3:15-16, 28:19 and Rom 6:1-7)

 

Communion

We believe the church should observe the Lord’s Supper regularly to remember the Lord Jesus’ death, making time for self-examination and confession of sins and looking forward to His second return. (Matt 26:26-29, 1 Cor 11:23-26)
